What we will fund (subject to meeting other criteria)

Innovations or pilots that require a small  "One-time expense" that can then be replicated or grown using regular support by an individual or organisation with proven ability to scale. The eventual large scale roll out potential must be worth at least Rs 10-50cr p.a. (or 10000-10 million beneficiaries- depending on the cause).

Examples

  • A new device designed by a doctor or health worker to help assess malnutrition that can save millions of hours of ICDS workers.
  • A real estate broker piloting a platform for making “locked up real estate” available to nonprofits for free (more than $10b of residential real estate is locked up and unused).
  • A platform to allow "Social vendor sourcing" for corporates- e.g., travel agencies, call centres and cafeterias run by people with disability – set up by a person who has proven experience in B2B sales to corporates
